The public involvement program for the KCI New Terminal Project EA is designed to allow the general public, concerned interest groups, and public agencies to provide their views, concerns, and ideas regarding the scope and content of the EA and, ultimately, the adequacy of the EA environmental analyses.
A governmental agency scoping meeting for all federal, state, and local regulatory agencies which have jurisdiction by law or have special expertise with respect to any potential environmental impacts associated with the Proposed Action was held on March 15, 2018 at the Ambassador Building, 12200 N. Ambassador Drive, Kansas City, Missouri.
The Kansas City Aviation Department also conducted a public scoping meeting on March 15, 2018 at the same location during the evening. The public scoping meeting was conducted in an open house format designed to inform the public about the Proposed Action and NEPA process, and allow the public to speak with KCAD, FAA, and the Consultant Team preparing the Environmental Assessment on issues and concerns they would like to see addressed in the EA.
